How this calendar works
I research this by hand every week rather than pulling a feed, because the feeds are full of events that were cancelled, moved or never real. Every entry links back to whoever is actually running it, so you can confirm the details yourself before you make plans.
Anything that has finished comes off the list on its own end date. Multi day runs, exhibitions and seasonal markets stay up for as long as they are still open. What you are looking at below is what has not happened yet.
This is not every event in Metro Atlanta and it does not try to be. It is the ones worth knowing about, across the areas I work in. If something is missing that should be here, tell me and I will look into it.

A weekly producer market running Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. through November 18, held rain or shine on the First Baptist Church Decatur grounds on Clairemont Avenue. Vendors bring produce, prepared foods and locally made goods, and the market matches EBT dollars through Georgia Fresh for Less. Parking is free in the church lot, with the deck opening at 4:30 p.m., and leashed dogs are welcome.

Atlanta's LGBTQ film festival runs eleven days across two intown screening venues, Landmark's Midtown Art Cinema on Monroe Drive and Out Front Theatre Company on Brady Avenue. The 2026 edition is the festival's 39th and carries the theme The World We're Making. Programming includes narrative features, documentaries and shorts, with passes and single tickets sold through the festival site.

One of Atlanta's largest farmers markets, running every Sunday 9 am to 1 pm year round at The Beacon, the converted warehouse complex on Grant Street. SNAP and EBT are accepted and matched through Georgia Fresh For Less, so $10 in EBT becomes $20 in produce tokens. The market is closed December 28, 2026.
