Edgewood Homes for Sale in Atlanta

Current Edgewood listings, updated as homes come on and off the market. Edgewood is an intown neighborhood about three miles east of downtown, and I have lived here since 2016. The listings are the starting point. What I add is the context behind them: which houses are original and which are new, and which blocks actually walk to MARTA.

Come as you are. Come on home.

Closed sales over the three months ending June 2026, from Redfin data. Prices vary a lot by street and condition, so I treat these as a starting point, not a verdict on any one house.

Thinking about selling?

What is your Edgewood home worth today?

Online estimates tend to miss what sets one Edgewood home apart from the next. I can put together a price range based on recent sales nearby and the condition of your home, with no pressure to list. For the numbers behind it, see what Edgewood homes are worth right now.

What the listing won’t tell you.

Edgewood runs roughly from DeKalb Avenue south to Memorial Drive, and from Moreland Avenue east to Kirkwood. Three things tend to explain most of the price differences you will see above.

Old or new, rarely in between

Most Edgewood houses are either early twentieth century bungalows and cottages or construction from the last decade. Two houses three streets apart can belong to different eras, and they tend to compare poorly as if they were the same product.

Three property types, three prices

Detached houses, townhomes and condos all trade here in real numbers, and they do not share a price per square foot. A neighborhood average blends all three.

MARTA access varies by block

The Edgewood/Candler Park station serves the Blue and Green lines, but how walkable it is changes from street to street. A station on the map is not the same as a short walk.

Buying in Edgewood FAQ

Short answers to what buyers ask while they are looking at Edgewood listings.

Over the three months ending June 2026, the median sale price in Edgewood was about $524K, and homes sold in a median of 36 days, based on Redfin data. Condition and location create a wide spread around that number, so I would look at recent sales on the streets you are considering.

It depends on what kind of home it is. Detached houses, townhomes and condos price differently, and so do original houses and new construction. A single neighborhood average tends to mislead, so I would compare any listing against recent sales of the same kind of home.

Yes. Townhomes and condos trade in meaningful numbers alongside detached houses, and much of that stock was built in the last decade.

The Edgewood/Candler Park station serves the Blue and Green lines. The BeltLine Eastside Trail is reachable through Reynoldstown, west across Moreland Avenue. Walking distance to the station varies a lot by block.

Edgewood is in 30317. That ZIP also covers Kirkwood, East Lake and part of Decatur, so a 30317 search is wider than Edgewood and prices in it do not describe Edgewood on their own.

I can tell you what the photos leave out: how the street feels, what the house is competing with, and whether the price makes sense for what it actually is.
