What Do Homes Actually Cost in Edgewood Right Now?

What homes cost in Edgewood, Atlanta in 2026: the current sourced median, why one number misleads, and how condos, townhomes and houses compare.

Edgewood prices cover a wide range because the neighborhood does. Original bungalows, renovated versions of the same houses, recent infill, townhome communities and condos all trade here, often within a few blocks of each other. Here is what the most recent published data shows, and how I would read it.

The current numbers

According to Redfin, Edgewood’s median sale price was $524,318 for the three months ending June 2026, down about 1% from a year earlier. Homes sold in a median of 36 days, compared with 47 days a year before, at about 99% of list price on average, and roughly a third sold above list.

Why one median misleads here

That median counts a one-bedroom condo, a townhome and a renovated four-bedroom house the same way. Recent Edgewood sales reported by Redfin ran from the mid $200,000s for a one-bedroom condo to the mid $700,000s for four-bedroom houses, all within a few weeks of each other this summer. A neighborhood median sits somewhere in the middle and may not describe the home you are looking at.

ZIP codes add another layer. Edgewood addresses fall in 30307, 30317 and, near Memorial Drive, 30316, and each of those ZIPs also covers other neighborhoods. A ZIP-level figure is not an Edgewood figure.

If you are buying

I would pull recent sales of the same property type, age and condition on nearby blocks before pricing an offer, rather than lean on a neighborhood median. The full picture of what to check before you write an offer is in my guide to buying in Edgewood.

If you are selling

Your competition is the specific homes listed near you, not the neighborhood average. A valuation built on genuinely comparable sales is the right starting point.
